Matteo Castagno obtained the bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Production Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino in October 2011. In that year he did an internship at the Corcos Industriale (Freudemberg Group), where he was in charge of applying the Heijunka method to the production processes. He received the master’s degree in Engineering and Management from the same university in December 2013, with the final dissertation entitled “Evolutionary trends in the mobile market: spectrum management and new actors”. During his studies, he attended a course of Industrial Organization and Competition Policy at the London School of Economics (LSE) and he also studied at the Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble. In April 2014 he joined the Business Model & Policy Innovation Unit within the Innovation Development Research Area at ISMB, as a business analyst.
