Nikos Manouselis is a co-founder and the CEO of Agroknow. He has a diploma in Electronics & Computer Engineering, a M.Sc. in Operational Research, and a M.Sc. in Electronics & Computer Engineering, all from the Technical University of Crete, Greece. He also holds a PhD on the application of metadata technologies in the domain of agriculture, from the Informatics Laboratory of the Agricultural University of Athens (AUA), Greece. He has extensive experience in designing and coordinating large scale initiatives related to the organisation, sharing, and discovery of agricultural information for research, education and innovation. He is a member of the Steering Group of the AGRIS service of the Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO). He is also serving as the co-chair of the Knowledge & Learning Systems Working Group (KLSWG) of the World Bank’s Global Food Safety Partnership (GFSP).
